I find the best way to photograph animals is to ask their owner when are they sedate and not manic.
Secondly I like to use natural light as in a window in a room were the animal is familiar with it’s surrounds..
Thirdly I will make funny noises just to get the animal to react in way that I have a choice of images where one represents it’s true nature.
Photography of pets is a challenge but rewarding to oneself and the pet owner with an engaging photograph.
